Digital Open Book Exam
General Remarks
- On this page, the exam questions will be published as an MS Word document for download at the start of the exam (see links below).
- You're allowed to edit this document digitally on your computer, thus NO printer or scanner is necessary (and also NO signature is required).
- When you're done editing the document, upload it to CeWebs, as usual, via the Submissions menu item.
- To avoid formatting issues, we recommend submitting PDF files but also MS Word document files will be accepted. (Tip: to create a PDF file use e.g. «Foxit Reader»).
- Other file types than PDF and DOC(X) will not be accepted.
- Keep in mind that the deadline for submitting your document is a "hard" one, meaning you can not upload anymore after the deadline passed.
Exam Rules
For the exam, the following rules apply:
- It is an Open-Book exam, i.e. using slides of the course or textbooks is fine.
- Work alone without the help of a third party (your teammate also qualifies as third party)
- This test can be subjected to a plagiarism test.
- Until the end of the course, the examiner can call you for an oral exam to clarify ambiguous situations.
- In the event, that the help of a third party is proven, the overall course is assessed negative and documented with an X in the protocol (transcript of record) of the University of Vienna.
- Exams that are not uploaded to CeWebS in time will be awarded 0 points.
- If you have questions, ask for help in the forum or on our Discord channel, but please avoid sharing (partial) solutions to the questions of the exam

Exam
The actual exam will take place on the 28.05.2020 at 11:30 and submissions will be accepted till 15:30 the same day, giving you 4 hours of exam time.
Like with the test exam, you will be able to download the examination questions as soon as the exam starts via the link below.

Important Notice for Discord
Please make sure you have (1) access to the server and (2) have been assigned the "verified student" role on the Discord server. If not, (re)send a picture of your students ID or any other sort of ID to a staff member (preferably Vigne or Lamesic) for verification.
