12th June: Please bring back your GPS-Receiver

Please bring back your GPS-Reseiver, if you still have one. The simplest way for this is to bring it to the Universitätsstrasse 10/9 to Mr. Pinter. He is normally available in his Office Mo - Thu between 10:00 until 14:00.
Please, write a little email to Mr. Pinter, when you plan to come.

28th May: Test-Time fixed

The Test for UbiComp will be held on 10th June between 12:00 and 13:30 in the «HS50».

5th May: New items on site

We have a bulletin board and a list of all (PISWI) registered students on our Website. You need to login if you want to use these services.
Every registered student has a login. it is "a" + Matrikelnummer as username. And your birthdate as password in the format "DDMMYYYY". For example:
Matrikelnummer = 1234567 / Birthdate = 12th Aptil 1942
user "a1234567" / pwd "12041942"
An exeption is Mr. Muhamed IMRAN, because he has no Matrikelnummer. This account was sent to his email-adress directly.

30th April: PISWI is open again

We opened (P)ISWI for registration again (till Sat, 3rd May). These students aren't registered to ISWI right now:

28th April: Start of the practice work tomorrow

Tomorrow (29th, April 2008) will be an introdution into the practice work. It will start at 14:00 st. in the Lenaugasse 2, 1st floor. We will descrive the work that you have to do and show the «Placelab» package in action…
So, please: BE THERE!

21st April: Password protection

We now have a password protection for the slides and papers. All of you should have recivied an email with the username and password.

8th April: Register to ISWI - please!!!

Again, not all students are registered to the ISWI-system. Namely
We will open ISWI from now on till tomorrow (Wed, 9. April) 23:59 for you. Please open «PISWI» and register to te lecture (LV-Nr. 050047/1). thx.

1st April: Write an abstract

Write a little abtract of your presentation. About 100 Words (a paragraph) is more than enough. We want to put all your abstracts on the webpage. The other students can than read again your ideas. You can also send us your Powerpoint-Presentaion along with the text. In that case try convert it to PDF, since we don't have MS-Office (on a Windows-Machine you can use PrimoPDF for that task - it's free and works realy fine!)
Please send the abstract (and the slides as pdf, if you want) to Mr. Pinter within a week.

31st March: Tomorrow Ubiquitous Computing

Please remember that tomorrow, 1.4.2008, the Ubiquitous Computing lesson will not be held in the standard lecture style. Instead, all students should
present the problems/situations/tasks/etc. that you have identified as relevent to Ubiquitous Computing. There are no formal style requirements for
this presentation, and you can use anything you like to illustrate the problem at hand. Presentations should be between 5 and 10 minutes.

25th March: Not all students are registered to ISWI

Again: not all students are registered to the ISWI-System. Remember: You need to do this, if you want a certificate at the end of the term! Again, we will open the ISWI registration-process for you after the next lecture. So please, please, please: register yourself…
These students aren't registered to ISWI right now:

18th March: Students-list is online

We created a list of all students here. Please check your Name, Matrikelnummer, Studien-Kennzahl and let us know, if something is wrong in the list…

11th March: Starttime has changed

We changed the starttime of the lecture from 12:30 to 12:45. Therefore the endtime is now 14:45
